Notice how many times talking heads on Fox start their commentary with ¨I just love when...¨ or ¨Isn´t it funny that...¨
I think this is a substitute or ploy to avoid the pretense of giving critical analysis of the issue presented by the host. Instead it is yet another element of info-tainment in which the speaker is trying to be your smart&funny friend that can sum up a complicated issue with a witty catchism. This along with other elements creates an ultra-superficial conception of politics by the average working class person.
